I’ve been blessed, thoroughly blessed, to have a wonderful mother-in-law. She’s the kind of mom who sneaks over and mows your lawn just because. She’s the kind of mom who will drop whatever she’s doing and come babysit without throwing around guilt. She’s the kind of mom who never berates or guilts or chooses sides. She’s the fairest lady ever, so it’s hard to say that I’m the favorite because she loves us all equally. I’m sure that if you ask her daughter or daughter-in-law they will both say that she loves them best.
But I have the sneaky suspicion that what makes her *really* love me isn’t my great wit, or stunning house keeping, or wonderful parenting, or awesome homemade pizza, it’s my overactive ovaries. The real kicker, why she *really* loves me best is because my ovaries got excited and dropped two eggs instead of one and she got twin grandbabies.
So have twins and become the favorite. It works for me.

Love it!! What a hoot. After spending a week with my 5 month old niece, I wanted to move in with my sister. Babies do that. I can’t imagine if she had had twins. I would have certainly pulled out a cot at least lol

I’m a STAR!! Thank you sweetie for saying I’m the ‘fairest lady ever’. You could pay me no higher compliment. I truly love all my family – my children and my grandchildren equally (whether American or British, born to me, brought to me or chose to be mine.) I want everyone to know that they are Grandma Sharon’s favorite cuz then I get to be their favorite too!

Whatever Sharon undertakes she performs at 100%. Whether as an administrative assistant, friend, mother, or grandmother. She’s the best! She’s a great example to all of us.
